A ceremony was held on Monday afternoon to promote two Mansfield firefighters and swear in another. Lieutenant Michael Carey was promoted to Captain, while firefighter Timothy Tingley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. Firefighter Austin Young was sworn in as the 89th member of the Mansfield Fire department. The ceremony took place at Fire Station 1, which is located on Third Street in Mansfield.
