Mansfield Approves EPA Samples at Former Ohio Brass Location

Mansfield City Council has approved just over $45,000 to go towards EPA mandates to collect samples to clean up the former Ohio Brass Manufacturing location on Main St. Councilman Cliff Mears says the company made brass fittings for the railway industry and the EPA is collecting core samples in that area to ensure this is a safe area. The money comes from a grant the city has received from the clean Ohio Fund.
