The Mansfield Police department held a swearing in ceremony on Monday for newest officer, Brittney Pennywitt, a 2004 Madison graduate.
Pennywitt now gives the Mansfield PD 73 officers. Police Chief Keith Porch told RichlandSource.com, his department is budgeted for 83 officers and this has them going in the right direction.
Pennywitt is the 8th female officer on the Mansfield Police force.
