Ohio Governor Allowing Carryout Alcohol During COVID-19 Outbreak

Ohioans can now get alcohol with their carryout orders.

Governor Mike DeWine says two pre-packaged drinks are permitted with each order, provided the restaurant has a liquor license.

Ohio has lost nearly 700-million dollars in restaurant revenue since they were closed to in-person traffic due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Carryout, drive-thru and delivery food is still permitted.
