Mansfield City Council Approves $35 Million Water Treatment Plant Upgrade

Mansfield City Council has approved bonds of $35 million dollars to upgrade and repair its Water Treatment Plant.

Council President Cliff Mears says the plant was built in 1957 and is long overdue for an update. Mears said this is a result of multiple EPA mandates and clean and safe water is a top priority for the city.
