Mansfield 4th ward Council member Alomar Davenport shared this week his proposal of a new police review board.
RichlandSource.com reports, Davenport said if passed, the new board will focus on understanding and transparency between the community and the Mansfield Police Department.
Davenport, who put together a code of conduct that was signed in 2020 by community leaders and police officials, said he is working with colleagues to foster a strong relationship with police and to help protect citizens.
