A Crestline company has been chosen to demolish and cleanup the former Westinghouse “A” building and 13 acres next to it in Mansfield.
RichlandSource.com reports, R&D Excavating of Crestline, which formed in 2018, was one of 4 bids that came back under $4 million dollars. The Bid awarded by the land bank is for $3.995 million. One of the owners is a Shelby graduate, who said, “ We are ready for it.” The property has sat vacant for more than 30 years.
