A hotel in Ashland will be closed temporarily, due to a recent fire.
According to RichlandSource.com, The Surrey Inn, which is located on Claremont Avenue, had a fire last week, but fire fighters were able to contain the damage to one room.
Two Ashland fire fighters were injured during the incident, but are expected to be ok, according to the fire chief.
The hotel is expected to be closed for a couple weeks, while work is done to rebuild the room and others that had smoke and water damage. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
