Richland County Engineer, Adam Gove, says that the public that submit comments about the upcoming proposed project below, which is planned for 2026.
**PUBLIC NOTICE**
The Richland County Engineer’s Office, in coordination with the Ohio Department of Transportation District 3, is proposing to construct a roundabout at the intersection of Lexington-Springmill Rd and Home Rd located in Troy Township, Ohio. Construction is currently scheduled to begin in the spring of 2026 and last approximately 150 days. The project will require a detour for a portion of the construction. The closure will occur during the summer and should last approximately 90 days.

Also, impacts to the B&O Trail are described on the Engineer’s website with instructions for submitting comments specific to the trail. To ensure your comments may be considered during project development, please submit them according to the information above (social media comments will not be considered). Comments must be received no later than July 31, 2024.
