There is a power outage at one polling location in Richland County, according to Matt Finfgeld, director of the Richland County Board of Elections.

The Heartland Church on Lexington-Springmill road has 5 precincts that vote at that location, which is the village of Lexington ( 3 precincts) and two in Troy Township.

It remains open by the use of battery back-ups and there is no ETA on when the power will be restored. Finfgeld wants to let the public know that the location is open and you will be able to vote until 7:30 pm. The power was out at 5:30 a.m., when the poll workers showed up to the polling location.
