Land Bank Hears Proposal from Developer about Mansfield Ocie Hill Property

The Richland County Land Bank heard a proposal from a housing developer to purchase the former Ocie Hill Neighborhood Center property on Bowman Street in Mansfield. According to RichlandSource.com, the proposed facility from a Wisconsin affordable housing developer is for a independent, senior housing complex for people age 55 and older. The facility on Bowman Street would feature one and two bedroom units. Amy Hamrick, executive director of the Richland County Land Bank, said, no decision has yet been made on the offer, while Bart Hamilton, Board Chair with the Land Bank, mentioned there will be probably be some public meetings on the matter to hear the thoughts from the community on the proposal.
