The identity of the 18-year old that died after sustaining gunshot wounds on Sunday in Mansfield has been released.
RichlandSource.com reports, Bob Ball, Richland County Coroner Chief Investigator, Jamyrione Hobbs, 18 of Mansfield, was shot multiple times.
Hobbs, who turned 18 two months ago in June, was shot in an alley between Lexington Ave and South Main Street.
The body is being sent for an autopsy in Montgomery County.

Mansfield Police Officers were dispatched to the area of 256 South Main Street in reference to a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers located 18-year-old Ja’myrion Hobbs between two residences. It appeared that he had sustained several gunshot wounds. Mr. Hobbs was transported to OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
We have received numerous tips from the community and encourage that this continue. Based on the information provided, detectives believe that several individuals were involved. Investigators are actively working to verify the validity of each tip while processing evidence collected from multiple search warrants.
