News Release 9-9-2025
On September 8th, 2025, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office arrested Alfonso Jones Sr., age 72 of Bucyrus, after an investigation into Mr. Jones sexually assaulting a juvenile female victim.
Mr. Jones is currently incarcerated at the Crawford County Justice Center on charges of Gross Sexual Imposition and reports will be forwarded to the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office for the consideration of additional charges.
