Help Us Clear the Streets: Please Move Vehicles Ahead of Snowfall
Mansfield, Ohio - With winter weather in the forecast, City officials are asking residents to help snow crews do their jobs safely and efficiently by moving vehicles off designated streets before snowfall begins.
When two inches or more of snow are expected or have fallen, parking restrictions go into effect on certain public streets under City Code Section 351.17 (Snow Removal Parking). Vehicles may not be parked or left on these streets for up to 24 hours following the snowfall, allowing plows and crews to clear roadways as quickly as possible.
City officials appreciate residents' cooperation and patience during winter weather events. Taking a few minutes to move vehicles ahead of time helps keep streets clear, neighborhoods safe, and snow removal running smoothly for everyone.
Attached is a listing of the streets affected for snow removal parking.
