Dayton Man, 18, Arrested After High Speed Chase from Mansfield to Ashland

A Dayton man,18, was arrested in North Central Ohio on Wednesday, after he led authorities on a high speed chase from Mansfield to Ashland with speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour.

According to RichlandSource.com, Jeremiah Mallory was taken into custody after his vehicle crashed into a snow bank, near the intersection of U.S. 42 and U.S. 250.

The pursuit started after the highway patrol attempted to stop Mallory, when he failed to stop in Mansfield at the intersection of North Stewart Road and Grace Street.

After the crash, Mallory, who was without a driver's license and had an active warrant, attempted to flee on foot, but was apprehended.

The vehicle involved in the incident was not registered to Mallory or his passenger. The incident remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
