From "Penny Lane" to The Boys of Dungeon Lane.

Former Beatles bandmates Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr will once again be singing together, as the two have a duet on McCartney's upcoming new album.

Set to drop May 29, the aforementioned album will include the track "Home to Us," a duet between the two music icons.

"I saw Ringo and said I worked with this guy Andrew [Watt]," McCartney told Billboard on Friday (April 17) about how the song came together, albeit somewhat disjointedly. "Ringo came over to Andrew's studio and played a little bit of drums."

The Wings frontman then sent Starr the demo and requested his vocals, McCartney explained. After mistakenly believing he was only supposed to sing the chorus, Starr sent the track back to his former bandmate, which made McCartney nervous that he didn't like the song. Eventually, the two came together, added more drums and vocals and finished the song.

His first solo album in more than five years, The Boys of Dungeon Lane marks the music legend's 18th solo studio album and will explore the moments and memories that shaped McCartney's life. In a statement last month, the musician touched on another track from the album, "Days We Left Behind," which inspired the album title.

"This is very much a memory song for me," McCartney shared. "I was thinking just that, about the days I left behind and I do often wonder if I'm just writing about the past, but then I think how can you write about anything else?"
